A quantum perspective on how to reinvent yourself

I’ve just listened to the Hay House World Summit (2013)  interview of Dr Joe Dispenza by Michael Neill.

What a gem!

As Joe says, quantum physics is the modern interpreter of mysticism. It is demystifying ancient knowledge and telling us how we can function (joyfully) in our personal reality.  It is explaining the role and impact of our thinking and emotions and choices in creating the experiences we have and the life we are currently living.

His work dovetails beautifully with what leading edge teachers like Esther Hicks and Bashar are also telling us. His discussion and insights add to the bigger picture understanding of how we can truly become masters of our own destiny – through deliberate and conscious choices to think and feeling differently.  To think and feel better – more often – and more consistently. To craft the self image we prefer to have of ourselves.

What I found particularly exciting was his discussion of how we can literally reinvent ourselves – at will – once we understand that we are mostly running on “old programming”  – old habits of thought and emotional reactions – that have reached their “use-by” date.

Rather than waiting til we hit “rock bottom” and then attempting to pick up our psychic selves – as it were – we can experience joyful change and transformation. This is not a metaphorical change. This is a literal change. For example create the good health, the finances, the relationships, the abundance, etc that we seek. We can be our true selves – no longer reacting to our external environment – but instead initiating change from within and then seeing our outer world mirror that inner change back to us.

But there is a “price” to pay. We must be willing to give up our old ideas of ourself – old habits of thinking and reacting to the external world.  This involves stepping into the unknown – stepping beyond our “comfort zone” – feeling uncomfortable for a time – until new habits kick in.

What I loved about the interview is how Dr Joe pulls together many strands of knowledge or information that are available in the new sciences like quantum physics, the self help area, NLP, education and training, and so forth. He offers a very accessible way of understanding the nature of physical reality and our role within that domain (“game”).

For example, we are now understanding why brainwave technology and meditation are such powerful agents for change. Both are a fast track way to change your brain chemistry – your neuronal frequency – from beta to alpha to theta states. Happy people, high achievers, creative people have discovered such optimal states either by accident or have been taught. We have heard of “being in the zone” – of “being in the flow” – and now we are learning how to achieve such states with ease – and from that state – to envision our life as we prefer it to be. It really is the stuff of magic…

I could go on ..

The way Joe Dipenza explains “personal change” is cutting edge – very accessible – and very “do-able”.

I went over to Amazon and bought the Kindle version of his most recent book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One

When I’ve read it – it’ll write a post.
